This past Saturday afternoon I joined some friends and parkered my beach chair in the midst of Elmer, NJ for the annual Appel Farms festival. You can still finds fields of corn and cows growing there. A bad omen the cows were all lying in the grass.....(Gramps said that meant rain was in the forecast). It may be the last vestige of undeveloped land in all of SJ?

Rufus and Loudon Wainwright, John Gorka to name a few. By the time Aimee Mann was winding up there was a beautiful orange sunset falling behind the trees! WOW! Best festival they've had in years!
