Why I like the rain

The current weather has me thinking of ways to be "cool" -
As a child I loved raining days walking home from school tramping through puddles in barefeet.
Rainy weather makes pulling weeds in the Garden of Eden easier.
Rain often lowers the temperature.
Free car washing.
Rita's buy one get one offer.
Sleeping soundly at night to the music of the rain on the roof.

Can you offer an other ideas?

I love the rain, too. It's insulating, somehow, shutting out noises and cutting down on light. It creates your own little world. It's great alone, and it's great shared with someone special. I like to walk in the rain, stay inside and listen to the rain, and go to sleep to the rythm of the rain. It's cleansing and freeing, especially when it ends oppressive heat.

went out with the kid rock in our last big storm. We ran through the waterfalls that develop around clogged gutters. Had a blast.

Mominator,
Cupons are going around these days, buy one and get one only on rainy days....or every time I buy concert tickets outdoors.

On a rainy day, grab a good book, curl up somewhere with the trusty pooch, in my case my little dog Murphy, and read till you fall into the best sleep of your life.

I like to walk in the rain. No, check that. I love to walk in the rain.
