I want to be alone

Garbo Posted by Hello
I took a few days off to relax in hopes of finding serenity in the garden. There have been phone call from family, half days for my spouse and I've been anything but alone. We spent this extra long weekend consumed with overdue spring cleaning chores. Freudian Slips author Joe wrote about his house of a hundred tasks. This must be the house of a thousand and one tasks. Now you can see through the windows, new paint and porch columns, and as always there weeding and lawn care chores. This morning I've done laundry, vacuming and put up clean summer sheers all before 10 a.m. The chicken is cooked for tonights' Caesar salad. I like a clean house as much as anyone but there has got to be more to life than work.
This is my last day off and I know what I must do....NOTHING else!

I am battling bronchial spasms now because I wore myself down on my vacation. Drop what you are doing.
